CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture”. Our flower CSA works the same way as popular vegetable CSAs. A member typically joins in the winter/early spring before the growing season starts. The payment helps our farm buy seeds and other supplies for the year. In return , members receive a weekly bouquet or bucket of premium sustainably-grown flowers nurtured with biodynamic practices.
Two types of shares are available: bouquet and bucket. The bouquet share consists of one lovely lush hand-tied bouquet and presented to members in a brown paper wrap each week. Members simply fill a vase at home with fresh water, snip the ends of the flower stems, and place the bouquet in the vase for a beautiful addition to their home or office. The bucket share, each week members receive a bucket stuffed full of loose stems of several varieties of flowers and foliage, perfect for making several small bouquets to scatter around the house or one large statement piece for a special occasion.
The Flower CSA season runs from April through early October. Members pick up their shares from designated pick up spots. Delivery of shares is available for additional fee.
